Like many great things, it started with a spark, an idea and hope. Our hope was to empower and enable the brightest minds to tackle some of the world’s most challenging problems in health. We’re pleased to share that we are making progress and it's because of the company we keep. Just six short years after our founding, Johnson & Johnson Innovation, JLABS has not only experienced significant growth through collaborative expansions and new initiatives, but the impact JLABS and the companies are having on the innovation ecosystem is undeniable.

We are proud to share an update with our community and perhaps give you a glimpse into the amazing work and the passion that’s driving innovation across JLABS.

But first, let’s do the numbers – we’ve grown to 13 JLABS locations across the globe – we have awarded nearly $6 million in awards via QuickFire Challenges; we now have 450+ companies in our JLABS ecosystem who have secured $11+ billion in financing.
