Karen Simonetti

Prior to joining JLABS, Karen worked as a Project Manager leading healthcare projects in Mental Health and Dementia, while also serving as a research work package coordinator for AGE-WELL, Canada’s Technology and Aging Network, as part of federally-funded Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) program. Her previous experience includes nearly a decade working as a Laboratory Research Project Manager at The Hospital for Sick Children’s Research Institute. In this role, she managed laboratory operations, coordinated equipment for the Molecular Structure and Function Program, and conducted research aiming to understand macromolecular complexes, amyloid assemblies, toxic peptides, elastomeric and viral membrane proteins.
