Why I'm a JPAL
I would like to use my experience reviewing many early stage companies interested in collaborating with JNJ to help innovative entrepreneurs best highlight their research, so they can deliver impactful and transformative therapies.
Bio
My Ph.D. research was investigating the mechanisms of immunosuppression that are observed during persistent viral infection, and many of these are also found in the impaired immune response to cancer. In my postdoctoral research, I studied how to best generate anti-tumor T cell responses utilizing cancer vaccine platforms in combination with various immuno-stimulatory agents that target multiple mechanisms of suppression. Currently, I am part of the JNJ Immuno-oncology cancer vaccines team optimizing next-generation therapeutic cancer vaccines that drive clinical benefit.
