Cincinnati Children’s Hospital:Children are often anxious about wearing a medical mask to fall asleep for surgery (麻醉诱导). Abby Hess, APRN, DNP and her team developed a breathing-controlled video game app and a device that connects the game to standard anesthesia equipment. Through a series of mini-games, the "Zoo Adventure" app aims to help children become comfortable with wearing a medical mask before surgery and calmly engages them as they fall asleep. The device is designed to be seamlessly integrated into the complex & fast-paced operating room environment.
